Too Pretty to Get Dirty

Well, I haven't been knitting much lately, but I have been doing a fair amount of weaving. I've completed several Christmas presents, as well as the below dish towel for an impromptu dishcloth exchange (thanks, Susan!). Hemming the towels was also my very first experience using a sewing machine. Funny how difficult it is to sew a completely straight line....

Next I'll be warping up my loom for a new rug for my kitchen. The colors I chose don't really match anything I have, but they make me happy every time I look at them. And at the end of the day, isn't that what it's all about?
